CKC & UKC Ch. Belglen Röskva, CGN, TT, HIC
Sóley = Buttercup Röskva = Energetic One
Sóley is CKC and UKC Registered.

I can't say enough good things about Sóley. She is ready for any kind of fun and games , especially agility. She enjoys frisbee, tracking and will venture into herding and rally obedience this spring. We especially appreciate Sóley's natural retrieving, her fearlessness on heights or unusual footing, and her excellent jumping abilities, although we kind of wish we hadn't taught her to jump straight up onto the grooming table or out of the x-pen. She is a very loving dog who enjoys being Scott's assistant dog-walker, and she has a heart-warming approach to people both young and old. She was a gem as a first-time mother and passed on her playfulness, affectionate nature and joie de vivre to her offspring.
Career Plans
In 2008, Sóley has attended the All About Pets show and represented the Icelandic Sheepdog in the Parade of Breeds. She attended a herding clinic in March and passed a herding instinct test in April. Sóley started a Rally Obedience class in May and will be competing in rally throughout the summer. Sóley is also the demo dog for a Tricks class that Scott is teaching this summer.Sóley passed her 2008 CERF exam, has OFA Thyroid Normal results (age 29 months), OFA Cardiac Normal and OFA Hips Excellent!

In May 2008 Sóley finished her CKC Championship under FCI Judge Soile Bister and got a Group 4th placement under CKC All-breeds Judge M. Mincey. In June 2008 she won Best of Breed at the CISC Club Booster and her daughter Leika won Best Puppy in Breed. On the same day Sóley took 2nd place in the Novice A Rally Trial with a Qualifying score of 98!

Sóley was evaluated by Monika Karlsdottir on July 28, 2007 :
Red sable and white female with black mask. Long hair. In summer coat, missing undercoat. Full dentition, good bite. Excellent type and excellent proportions. Good proportions in head, good stop. Nice expression and smile. Eyes could be slightly darker. Good ear placement and size. I would prefer a more triangular shape to the ears. Excellent angulation front and back. Nicely laid back shoulder, good upper arm. Good forechest. Would like slightly deeper chest and more substance. Could have a bit stronger back. Good croup. Good hocks. Her feet are slightly flat. Pasterns okay. Single dewclaws in rear, slightly stronger on right side. Good tail with moderate hook. Nice plumage on tail. Good bone. Very feminine. Coat could be a little bit coarser. Excellent movement coming and going. Excellent rear. Good front. Excellent breed-typical movement. Friendly, open, typical Icelandic temperament with extremely happy demeanour, with mobile ears. Nice filled-in cheeks and a good smile.
Excellent Rating.
