Skonsa goes to her new home today! We'll miss her exuberant personality!
August 15
Tindra competed in the CISC booster and placed 3/3 in Open females. Like her mother she'll no doubt end up with a complete collection of ribbons (Soley has everything from Group 4th to 4th in class).
It was our first weekend out without any of the other dogs or her owner/handler Scott and she behaved very maturely during our hotel stay - our baby girl is growing up!
No pictures from this event but I do have the dogs booked for a special portrait session in mid-September.
Sigga (formerly Vina) travelled to her new home. She lives in Maine with proud new owner Maureen and her sire Max.
August 11
Ari and Elska had a livestock exposure and both showed herding instinct! Ari seems to be following in dam Ima's footsteps with his desire to be in charge!
August 9
Trek and Viggo went to their new homes today!
Puppy Party was held in Viggo's new back yard.
We confirmed that the puppies have no issues with torrential rainfall, thunder and lightning!
August 7-9
Victoria City Kennel Club, Saanichton
Elska and Ari competed in three days of conformation showing. Ari won Best of Breed on all three days. Judges were: H. Lehtinen (Finland), G. Jeavons (ON) and James Reynolds (ON).
June 19-21: Nanaimo Kennel Club
Elska and Ari competed in three days of conformation showing.
Elska won Best of Breed on all 3 days. Judges were: Joan Beech (ON), Susan Quesnel (BC) and Grant Townsend (AB).
Puppies arrived on June 5, 2009.

Tindra won Best of Breed (no points) Judge P. Heikkinen-Lehkonen (Finland)
May 10 : Pawsway Centre, Toronto, Ontario
Tindra participated in "Dog Shows 101" at the Pawsway Centre.

Friday : Elska won BOB (Cec Ringstrom, CKC)
Saturday : Elska won BOB, cut in group (Butch MacDonald)

Friday - Elska won BOB (L. Stanbridge, CKC)

* unfortunately Elska was mis-entered in the 12-18 month class at this show so she did not keep these points.
April 26: B.C. Sanction Match
Elska placed Group 4th in a sanction match.
Both Elska and Ari received "Normal" results from their CERF eye exams.
April 2o: Sanction Match, B.C.
Elska placed Group 2nd in a sanction match.
April 10-12: All About Pets Booth
We hosted anIceland Sheepdog breed booth at the All About Pets show, in Toronto, Ontario.
April 4 : Health Clinic at Graham Animal Hospital
Tindra received a Normal CERF evaluation.
We did not have her hips evaluated at this time since her first heat started on Saturday!
